Competency-based curriculum for the European Dimension and Intercultural Learning
Kompetenzorientiertes Curriculum für die Europäische Dimension und das Interkulturelle Lernen
In 2003, the first European Curriculum of the Hessian European Schools was published. Through the cooperation of the different types of schools within the school development programme, it was possible to write a curriculum that differed from the curricula especially in that the contents of the different subjects were related to each other. The European Curriculum was gradually implemented in the lessons of the Hessian European Schools in the following years.
The 2010 edition of the now further developed and competence-oriented "Curriculum for the European Dimension and Intercultural Learning" introduces the basics of the Hessian European Schools. In this context, in connection with the Hessian Reference Framework for School Quality, individual areas are presented in a differentiated manner with regard to their specification for European Schools.
