This supplementary educational material for teachers aims to enhance historical thinking, multiperspectivity and peacebuilding. Using 16 sites of cultural, historic and environmental significance across the divide in Cyprus, the lesson plans showcase underrepresented aspects and question popular understandings of history, while encouraging discussions related to women’s history, migration, workers’ rights, displacement, cultural heritage and the relationship between different communities.
