The Slovenian-Croatian Historical Commission

Slovensko-hrvaška zgodovinska komisija
Slovensko-hrvatska povijesna komisija

The Slovenian-Croatian Historical Commission was inaugurated on 10 June 2005 in Pula. The 14-member Commission prepared a report on the history of relations between the two nations from the mid-19th century until independence on 25 June 1991. The report should shed light on the historical facts of the entire relationship, including the course of the border, and thus help to facilitate the resolution of outstanding issues between the two countries, among which the border issue is one of the most contentious.
