The work of the Polish-Ukrainian commission focuses on the presentation of the position and state of research of Polish and Ukrainian historical sciences and on the analysis of the way in which individual problems are presented in textbooks. The annual meetings analyse the key issues defining Polish-Ukrainian relations from a historical and geographical perspective. The starting point for the discussions are speeches by Polish and Ukrainian researchers, characterising the current scientific output in the field.
