The German-French Historians' Committee (DFHK) is an association of German and French historians as well as scholars of neighboring disciplines who work with historical scientific methods. The aim of the association is to promote research into Franco-German relations, the history of the respective neighboring country and both countries in comparison in the 19th and 20th centuries. Due to its objectives, the DFHK sees itself as binational and promotes cross-border cooperation between German and French colleagues.
