The Commission is engaged in a comprehensive review of the history curricula, textbooks and additional teaching materials currently used in both countries. The new generations in both countries and the region should be educated in the spirit of European values of solidarity, trust and mutual cooperation, declared the delegations of North Macedonia and Greece at the second meeting. In a joint communiqué the delegations of Athens and Skopje announced that they had "elaborated an intensive program to find mutually acceptable solutions based on the relevant principles and the objectives of UNESCO and the Council of Europe."
