Call for Papers: Education Against Authoritarianism

Journal for Legal and Political Education (JLPE); Deadline - 10 February / 10 June

The Journal of Legal and Political Education (JLPE) is now accepting submissions for its upcoming issues. JLPE welcomes innovative approaches, critical analyses, and discussions on contemporary issues in legal and political education. Submissions may present theoretical frameworks, robust empirical evidence, or comparative and single-case studies.

Special Focus:

In addition to submissions within the journal's regular scope, this issue will feature a thematic block on "Education Against Authoritarianism." We invite contributions that explore how education can resist authoritarian tendencies by fostering critical thinking, promoting democratic values, addressing the erosion of civil liberties, and equipping individuals to challenge anti-democratic practices.

Submission Deadlines:

  • Round 1: 10 February
  • Round 2: 10 June

Submission Guidelines:

  • Articles should not exceed 8,000 words.
  • Adhere to JLPE’s Article Guidelines for formatting.
